Business Analyst (Sales Operations Analyst)

The Business Analyst - (Sales Operation Analyst) is a new position within the organization in our Analytics department. This role will report to the Director of Analytics, and will provide direct support to field sales teams by working with the Area Vice President of Sales and Regional Business Directors across the country. This role provides a wide variety of support functions for the sales teams, including sales forecasting, reporting, preparing executive presentations and conducting ad-hoc analysis. This analyst will also complete various administrative duties as they relate to the incentive compensation plans. 

Business Analyst - Sales Operation Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Works with payroll analyst to manage and maintain incentive compensation plans across the sales organization 
  • Conducts various ad-hoc analysis (sales performance trends, impact of financing programs)
  • Works with marketing teams to balance lead generation and sales capacity through the network
  • Helps support patient financing programs with various analyses
  • Work with regional business Directors to develop high-impact sales contests and provide results 
  • Monitors data inputs from the organization and works with various departments to maintain data hygiene in the organization
  • Helps create develop and define best practices in this newly created role
  • Other ad-hoc tasks and requirements as needed

Business Analyst - Sales Operation Analyst Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience with conducting analysis, creating forecasts, developing reports, and working with large data sets
  • Must be extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, formatting, data cleansing)
  • 1-2 years of experience developing models, what-if scenarios, and forecasts
  • Some basic experience with relational databases or SQL is required
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple projects under with varying deadlines
  • Must have a strong passion for self-improvement and learning
  • Must have a great customer service attitude and be willing to jump in and help as needed
