Marketing Analyst Summary:
As an integral part of the ClearChoice marketing team, the Marketing Analyst will be a key resource in providing marketing analyses and insights to the internal marketing team across traditional media, digital channels, and creative response as well as the company’s external marketing partners.  This role is responsible for both recurring and ad hoc analysis to help yield improved marketing efficiency and effectiveness.  This is a new role in the company, reporting to the Vice President of Marketing/Chief Marketing Officer.  The successful candidate will have a strong passion for learning and personal development.  Additionally, this candidate should be flexible to change and willing to jump in to a new situation and start making an impact.  If the idea of challenging the status quo, investigating your own theories, and hunting for business break-throughs is interesting, this might be the right next step in your career path.


Marketing Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Define, conduct and report on a range of analyses related to ClearChoice prospective patients and patients encompassing the various marketing tactics and associated media spend on both a company-wide and market-specific basis
  • Sit in on marketing planning meetings to add data-driven insights to topics and plan follow-up research
  • Assist Media Planning Manager with monitoring of the traditional media plan including effectively coordinating execution with external media buying partner
  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager with monitoring top-line and market-specific performance of digital programs
  • Assist in development and ongoing management of ClearChoice’s marketing budget, including forecasting and conducting variance analysis
  • Create data-driven recommendations for the allocation of marketing and sales resources
  • Analyze data to identify the underlying story and then convert insights into a clear and concise narrative
  • Help monitor marketing performance trends and assist in diagnosing any problems as needed
  • Manage existing reporting and identify potential opportunities to further streamline reporting efficiency
  • Monitor competitive media activity using existing tools and provide thought leadership on further development of competitive analyses
  • Effectively partner with internal Analytics team in scoping and completing more complex analyses that may entail digging into “down-funnel” data and performance encompassing the call center and sales functions

Marketing Analyst Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years in a highly analytical marketing role or a strategic business analyst role 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking up in meetings or presenting analysis in a small group setting
  • Prior success in a dynamic, cross-functional role
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient with Google Analytics
  • Some basic exposure to relational databases

Marketing Analyst Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with strong quantitative coursework (Finance, Accounting, Business, Math)
  • Prior analytical experience, preferably in support of marketing or customer service
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling 
  • Experience with HTML and familiarity with online pixels and tracking online/website performance metrics
  • Prior experience in healthcare
  • Firm understanding of audience segmentation techniques as they relate to marketing and broadcast media
